what a beautiful day it is, such a monumental event in our history has happened and Im happy Im old enough and intelligent enough to understand what is going on. Congratulations Barack Obama.
I always wished that I was coherent enough back in the day to realize and understand the past events that have really affected peoples lives. For example rodney king/la riots, biggie/tupac, columbine, 9/11/, the bush campaign i.e.katrina/ the war/decline of economy, etc. Sure i was alive during those times, but i never really paid attention to them, i just went on with my ignorant life haha or just too damn young. The only thing I honestly followed was the undisputed greatest team in the world The 91-93 and 96-98 Chicago Bulls and Dragonball
today is great day because I believe it is even bigger than all of the past events listed. Ive been keeping track of the Inauguration the past few days and have really seen nothing like it. The crowds, the emotions, and hope in the air is bit overwhelming and a sight to see. However like Barack said changes aren't going to happen right away and we must be patient and work together to see our for wishes come true.
Now i really need to focus and really take in what is happening because I am slowly but surely becoming an adult and all this will be affecting me and my kids,and plus I feel stupid now not knowing what is happening haha.
